there are three innovative buildings which are exhibits in themselves, for instance the structure, services and the finishes of the buildings, as you can se in the photos below.
There is the imax cinema, the tower and the science mall. So you are really getting three tourist attractions on one site.
the imax cinema
boasts
the biggest cinema screens in scotland, showing breathtaking 2d/3d movies in a
powerful virtual reality environment, bringing science to life in a very visual
and simple way. It uses six high quality video projectors to throw images onto a
giant curved screen, powered by a fantastic silicon graphic mega computer, which
will probably be clearest realist amazingly unrivalled cinema images you will
have seen.
the
science mall has over 300 interactive science and technology exhibits, in
addition to workshops labs, e-learning resources, planatarium, and so forth. The
exhibits range over four floors and cover the spectrum of natural and applied
sciences, from astronomy to bionetics (arranged by

'exploration and discovery'

The tower is scotlands tallest free standing building, and the only building in the world capable of rotating 360deg from the ground up( it also rotates to face the wind). a tunnel leads you to the base of the tower. offers fantastic twenty five mile all round views of the whole city andits surroundings, however it might not be suitable for those afraid of heights. however, the tower is closed temporarily for engineering works at the moment. Because the design and architecture is innovative, it has presented a few problems, that are taking a while to resolve.
